Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash in Tremont earlier this evening.
Emergency services were called following reports a vehicle left the road and crashed down an embankment on Churchill Drive about 5.30pm.
Sadly, an adult passenger from the vehicle died at the scene.
The male driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
