Police are investigating a fatal single vehicle crash in Wangaratta this morning.
It is understood the vehicle has reversed from a driveway across Rowan Street and struck a tree around 11.30am.
The driver and only occupant, an 80-year-old Wangaratta woman, was critically injured in the crash and was transported to hospital but has died.
Police are working to establish the exact circumstances of the crash.
