The north bound lanes of Mitchell Freeway are closed between Hepburn Avenue and Ocean Reef Road, as Police and emergency services respond to a fatal crash on Mitchell Freeway, near Whitfords Avenue.
At this time it is believed an initial crash about 9:35am today (06/12/2020) involved a single motorcycle. The rider of that motorcycle has died.
Two more motorcycle subsequently crashed at the same location, with those two riders being taken to hospital. The extent of their injuries is not yet confirmed.
Motorists are advised to seek an alternative route or expect delays.
