Police are responding to serious crash – Craigie

Traffic Enforcement Group North officers are investigating a serious crash that occurred on the north bound lanes of the Mitchell Freeway Craigie on Thursday the 28th of January 2021

Just after 2.21pm, a white Mitsubishi Triton ute travelling north in the left hand lane on Mitchell Freeway drove into the rear of a red Toyota Corolla that was stationary in the western side Emergency lane of the Mitchell Freeway.

The Toyota Corolla was pushed down an embankment on the western side of the freeway and the Mitsubishi Ute rolled onto its roof coming to rest in left the left hand northbound lane.

The driver and sole occupant of the Toyota Corolla, a woman in her 60s, was conveyed by ambulance to the Royal Perth Hospital.

Police would like anyone who saw the crash, has dashcam vision or saw either vehicle in the area prior to the crash, or has any information relating to this crash is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au
