Police arrest four men after targeted arson attack at Croydon Park, South Australia

Detectives from the Crime Gangs Task Force have arrested four men with links to an OMCG following an investigation into a deliberately lit car fire in July at Croydon Park.

At around 1.30am on Sunday 12 July, patrols and MFS crews were called to Lamont Street, after reports of a Subaru sedan on fire in the driveway. Police will allege four persons were captured on CCTV pouring petrol over the car while parked in the driveway and set it alight. The Subaru was completely destroyed in the targeted attack.

On Thursday 3 September, detectives attended three northern suburb properties and arrested an 18-year-old from Penfield Gardens, an 18-year-old from Angle Vale and an 18-year-old from Williamstown. The trio have all been bailed to appear in the Adelaide, Port Adelaide and Adelaide Magistrates Court on 18, 3 and 18 November respectively.

Detectives then attended a Munno Para West property today and arrested a 20-year-old from that address. He was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court Monday.
