Police arrest man after Pooraka robbery, South Australia

A man has been arrested after an aggravated robbery at Pooraka.

Police will allege that about 7am today (Saturday 8 May), patrols were called to a service station on Bridge Road, after reports that a man armed with a knife threatened staff and demanded cash, before walking out of the store with an amount of money.

Patrols converged on the scene and located the man nearby, arresting him without incident.

No one was injured.

The 46-year-old man of no fixed address was taken to hospital for assessment, and will face robbery charges later today.
