Bayside Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives arrested a man following the sexual assault of a teenage girl in Balaclava last month.
A 17-year-old female victim was walking on Carlisle Street about 11.30pm on 23 March when she was sexually assaulted by an unknown man.
Investigators arrested a 58-year-old man yesterday in Melbourne’s CBD.
The Korean National is expected to be charged on summons with sexual assault and other related offences at a later date.
