Police arrest man after tyres slashed in Richmond

Yarra Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a man after more than 60 vehicles had their tyres slashed in the Richmond area recently.

It is alleged many of the incidents occurred between 4 December and 13 December.

A 41-year-old Epping man was arrested at an address in Epping on Friday afternoon.

It is alleged that during the arrest police located a hydroponic set-up.

He has been interviewed and charged with criminal damage, cultivate narcotic plant and commit indictable offence whilst on bail.

He has been remanded to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court later today.
