Police are investigating after a woman was located deceased in Burwood East this morning (27 February).
Emergency services were called to an Anthony Court home about 9.40am.
A 68-year-old Clayton South man was arrested at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the death are yet to be established, however the 57-year-old woman’s death is being treated as suspicious.
Homicide Squad detectives are investigating.
Detectives are also at an address on Westall Road, Clayton South as part of the investigation.
Police are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.
