Police arrest man over robberies in 2012, South Australia

A man has been charged over four robberies in the metropolitan area, targeting fast food restaurants and a video rental store.

Police will allege that between September and October 2012, a 42-year-old man from Gawler East threatened staff and stole money from three restaurants and a video store.

Further investigations by the Serious and Organised Crime Branch led to yesterday’s arrest of the suspect.

He has been charged with four counts of aggravated robbery, and was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 11 December.
