Police arrest teen after Preston stabbing and attempted armed robbery

Reservoir police have arrested a teen after an alleged stabbing and attempted armed robbery in Preston Wednesday night.

Police have been told the victim was at a fast food restaurant in Bell Street when he was confronted by a teenage boy around 10.20pm, 20 April.

The offender has made a demand for the victim’s property which was refused by the victim

The offender has then produced a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times before running away.

The 19-year-old victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

A 17-year-old male has been arrested a short distance away and is currently assisting police with their enquiries
