Police arrest teens after Narre Warren bus robbery

Detectives from the Southern Metro Crime Team have executed two search warrants in Cranbourne North addresses this morning as part of their investigation into an armed robbery that occurred on a bus in Narre Warren on Sunday.

It is alleged a 17-year-old boy was approached and robbed by three unknown youths who boarded a bus at the Narre Warren Railway Station about 1.15pm on 15 November.

Three 16-year-old Cranbourne North boys were arrested during the warrants and subsequently interviewed in relation to the incident.

The first teen has been charged with armed robbery, theft, possess controlled weapon, possess cannabis, and commit indictable offence whilst on bail.

The other two teenagers have been charged with armed robbery, theft, possess controlled weapon, and commit indictable offence whilst on bail.

All three will face a children’s court later today.
