Police arrest two for drug offences at Trott Park

Detectives arrested two people yesterday in connection with drug trafficking at Trott Park.

Acting on information received, Southern District detectives attended a Trott Park address on Monday 10 July.

It will be alleged a sophisticated hydroponics system was located and dismantled. The electricity supply to the premises had also been diverted.

Officers seized 19 cannabis plants, approximately 5.5 kilograms of dried cannabis and a small quantity of steroids and MDMA.

A 25-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, both from Trott Park, were arrested and charged with cultivate cannabis, possess prescribed equipment, divert electricity and traffic a commercial quantity of cannabis.

They were bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on 3 August.
