Police arrest youth over child exploitation material, South Australia

Detectives from the SAPOL’s Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team (JACET) a partnership between SAPOL’s Public Protection Branch and the Australian Federal Police, yesterday arrested and charged a teenage boy from the south-west of Adelaide for disseminating child exploitation material.

The 17-year-old youth was granted police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Youth Court on 8 May.

Police will allege that the youth was selling the child exploitation material online. The investigation is continuing.
