Police charge man after breach of AVO in Manly

A man will appear in court today, charged after allegedly breaching an AVO.

About 10.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 14 December 2021), officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command commenced an investigation into reports of a breach of AVO.

Following inquiries, about 7.45am today (Wednesday 15 December), police arrested a 51-year-old man on West Promenade, Manly.

The man was taken to Manly Police Station where he was charged with contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO (Domestic), use carriage service to menace/harass/offend, and breach of bail.

He was refused bail, to appear before Manly Local Court today.
