Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man following the death of a man in Doncaster East last year.
A 34-year-old man from Doncaster, who had previously been interviewed by police, has been charged with one count of murder and will face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
The arrest follows an incident in 2023 where emergency services were called to Tidcombe Crescent shortly before 5.50am on 4 September to reports a man had been located deceased.
The investigation is ongoing.
