Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man following the death of a woman in Hadfield on Thursday night.
Police were called to the Win-Malee Street home where a 76-year-old woman was located deceased just before 10pm.
An 83-year-old Hadfield man has been charged with murder and remanded to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court later this morning.
Detectives are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.
