Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following an incident in Keilor Downs yesterday (28 September).
It’s alleged a man was having an altercation with a woman at a Kiwi Retreat home just before 1pm.
It’s alleged the altercation continued in a car the male was driving, the victim has fallen from the back seat onto the road as the car was driving around a corner.
The 32-year-old Keilor Downs woman sustained life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to hospital but died last night.
She delivered a baby via c-section which remains in hospital in a critical condition.
The 35-year-old Keilor Downs man has been charged with dangerous driving causing death.
He will appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court shortly.
