Police charge man after PSOs find drugs and bank cards

A man has been charged after Protective Services Officers (PSOs) found him in possession of alleged drugs in Caulfield yesterday.

The PSOs were patrolling Caulfield railway station when they noticed the man acting suspiciously about 10.40pm.

The 31-year-old man was arrested on outstanding theft matters.

A search of the man and his possessions located quantities of alleged methylamphetamine and suboxone, as well as several bank cards in the names of other people.

The man was charged with offences including trafficking and possession of methylamphetamine, possession of prescription medication without a prescription, dealing with property suspected proceeds of crime, and committing an indictable offence whilst on bail.

He also received five other charges in relation to the outstanding theft matters

The man was remanded to appear at the Moorabbin Magistrates’ Court today.
