A 39-year-old Cranbourne man has been charged following an alleged pursuit in Melbourne’s South on Sunday morning.
It’s alleged a stolen Audi reversed into a police vehicle and drove off toward Cranbourne.
Police arrested the man on Peninsula Link after successfully deploying stop sticks.
The man has been charged with multiple offences including theft of motor vehicle, damage to emergency service vehicle, dangerous driving, reckless conduct endangering life.
He remains in hospital under police guard and is expected to face court tomorrow.
