Arson and Explosives Squad detectives with the assistance of Mildura Crime Investigation Unit detectives, have charged a man following a fatal house fire in Red Cliffs on 26 February.
Emergency services were called to a fire at an address on Indi Avenue about 11.15pm.
A deceased man was located in the residence after fire crews extinguished the blaze.
A 36-year-old Red Cliffs man has been charged with arson causing death.
The man has been remanded and will appear at Mildura Magistrates’ Court on 1 March.
