Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a 26-year-old man following a fatal collision in Southbank last year.
It’s it alleged an MG ZS rear-ended a truck on the exit ramp from the West Gate Freeway about 11.35am on 24 November.
The passenger in the car, a 25-year-old Darley woman, died at the scene.
Both the MG and truck drivers sustained minor injuries and were taken to hospital.
The MG driver, from Darley, was last night charged with dangerous driving causing death and careless driving.
He was bailed to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 20 March.
