Police Charge Man After Stabbing – Turramurra

A man has been charged following an alleged stabbing at North Turramurra yesterday (Sunday 24 March 2024).

About 2am yesterday, emergency services were called to Somerset Avenue, North Turramurra, following reports two men had been stabbed.

A 31-year-old man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for a leg wound, and a 28-year-old man was treated for multiple wounds.

Both men were taken to Royal North Shore Hospital where they are expected to undergo surgery for non-life threatening injuries.

A 30-year-old man was also arrested and taken to Royal North Shore Hospital where he was treated for facial injuries.

Police attached to Ku-Ring-Gai Police Area Command established a crime scene, and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Following his release from hospital, the 30-year-old man was taken to Chatswood Police Station, and charged with reckless wounding, wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and affray.

He was refused bail to appear before Hornsby Local Court today (Monday 25 March 2024).
