Police charge man over crash at Bridgewater

A 43-year-old man from Bridgewater has been charged with multiple offences following a crash in Bridgewater this morning.

Around 10.50am a gold Holden Commodore travelling on Scott Road crossed onto the incorrect side of the road and crashed through metal fencing and into the side of a dwelling.

The driver fled the scene and was located by police a short time later.

He has since been charged with offences including:

  • Driver involved in accident and failing to stop
  • Drive without due care and attention
  • Motor vehicle stealing.

No injuries were reported.
