Police charge man with drug offences in Carlingford

Following a joint NSW Police and Australian Border Force operation, investigators have charged a man with drug offences, which involved the importation of the drug GHB.

On Monday 2 March 2020, detectives from The Hills Police Area Command conducted a search warrant at Jenkins Road, Carlingford.

Police seized more than 2kgs of GHB, a quantity of cannabis and the drug Ice.

A 42-year-old man was arrested and taken to Castle Hill Police Station where he was charged with seven charges, including importing a border control drug (x2), supplying a prohibited drug (x2), possessing a prohibited drug (X2) and recklessly dealing with proceeds of crime.

He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court tomorrow (Tuesday 3 March 2020).
