A 38 year old Sheffield man has been charged with firearms and drugs offences following a search of his home yesterday.
Western Drug Investigation Services executed a drug related search warrant and seized a traffickable quantity of cannabis plants, seedlings and buds. Two unregistered firearms were also located and seized. The man is not the holder of a firearms licence.
The man has been charged with:
- Cultivate for sale
- Possess a firearm when not the holder of a firearm licence of the appropriate category
- Possess an unregistered firearm
The man will appear in the Devonport Magistrates Court on 5 May.
