Police charge man with sexual touching – Manly

A man will face court charged with sexual touching in the Northern Beaches.

Just after 2.40pm on Saturday (12 August 2023), two women – aged 33 and 31 – were travelling to Manly wharf from Circular Quay when they were approached and allegedly inappropriately touched by a man.

Officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation into this incident.

Following inquiries, police arrested a 38-year-old man in Manly about 10pm on Saturday (12 August 2023).

He was taken to Manly Police Station where he was charged with two counts of sexually touch another person without consent.

He was refused bail to appear at Manly Local Court on Wednesday (16 August 2023).
