Award-winning Darwin performer Lisa Pellegrino has captivated international audiences with sell-out performances of her acclaimed one-woman theatre production, We Keep Everything, at the 2026 Fringe Milano OFF Festival in Milan, Italy.

With the support of the Finocchiaro CLP Government, Ms Pellegrino presented four performances at the world-renowned festival from 8 to 11 October, showcasing the Territory’s exceptional creative talent on the world stage.

Minister for Arts Jinson Charls congratulated Ms Pellegrino and said her success demonstrated the strength of the Territory’s creative sector.

“The Finocchiaro CLP Government is proud to support Territory artists, and our investment in helping Lisa take her award-winning work to Milan reflects our commitment to growing a vibrant arts sector as we restore the Territory lifestyle,” Minister Charls said.

“Territory artists continue to punch above their weight nationally and internationally, and by backing opportunities like this we’re helping make the Territory an even better place to live, work, visit and invest.”

We Keep Everything explores themes of family, grief, migration and healing through a powerful blend of live performance, archival footage and audio recordings.

The production premiered at Brown’s Mart Theatre in 2025 and earned Ms Pellegrino both the NT Performing Arts Best Performer of the Year Award and the People’s Choice Award.

Ahead of the festival, Ms Pellegrino said she was excited to share the production with international audiences and showcase Territory storytelling on the world stage.

“It is an incredible honour to represent the Northern Territory and share We Keep Everything with audiences in Italy,” Ms Pellegrino said.

“This work is deeply personal, but it explores themes that resonate across cultures and communities. I’m excited to see how international audiences connect with the story.

“I’m grateful for the Northern Territory Government’s support, which has made this opportunity possible and will help build new connections and future possibilities for Territory artists.”

Co-founder and Artistic Director of the Fringe Milano OFF Festival, Renato Lombardo, said Ms Pellegrino’s performance resonated with audiences and celebrated deeply personal stories and cultural traditions.

“Lisa did a great, great job to bring memories of her tradition so far to the Fringe Milano OFF Festival,” Mr Lombardo said.

The Finocchiaro CLP Government provided $11,000 through the Department of People, Sport and Culture’s Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships program to support travel, accommodation and staging costs associated with the international presentation.
