Police charge three after cash, drugs and ammunition seized at Kingston

Logan police have charged three people with multiple offences after allegedly seizing ammunition, drugs, drug utensils and more than $40,000 cash from a Kingston residence.

Around 4pm on Monday (July 27) police executed a warrant at a David Street residence, where they allegedly located a quantity of cocaine, methylamphetamine, MDMA, LSD and cannabis. Police also allegedly seized multiple rounds of ammunition as well as drug utensils including scales and glass pipes. Approximately $42,000 in cash was also seized.

A 44-year-old Kingston man has been charged with six counts of possessing dangerous drugs, and one count each of possess relevant substances, possess utensils or pipes, possess property suspected of being used in a drug offence, possess property suspected of being the proceeds of an offence and authority required to possess explosives (ammunition). He is due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on 14 October.

A 30-year-old Tamborine man was charged with one count of possessing dangerous drugs and one count of possessing utensils or pipes. He is due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on 16 September.

A 45-year-old Kingston man was charged with one count of possess utensils or pipes and one count of possess property suspected of having been used in a drug offence. He is due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on 6 November.
