Wayward Taskforce Investigators have charged three teenage girls over a series of home invasions and armed robberies across the Western suburbs in the last week.
On Thursday, 21 October, the offenders allegedly entered a home in Truganina, stealing a wallet, car keys and the victim’s car.
The offenders then allegedly used the victims credit cards at several service stations and fast-food outlets in Hoppers Crossing.
On Friday, 22 October, it is alleged the offenders attempted to rob a 28-year-old woman with a machete, making demands for her phone.
On Tuesday, 26 October, the offenders allegedly entered a home in Werribee, stealing car keys and two cars.
Later that same day, the offenders stopped a 16-year-old boy walking in Hoppers Crossing before threatening him with a knife and making demands for his phone.
Luckily no-one was injured during the incidents.
A 15-yr-old Altona North girl has been charged with aggravated burglary and theft of motor vehicles.
A 16-yr-old Werribee girl has been charged with aggravated burglary, attempted armed robbery, thefts of motor vehicle and bail offences.
A 16-yr-old Hoppers Crossing girl has been charged with aggravated burglary, theft of motor vehicles, burglary, deceptions and bail offences.
All three have been remanded in custody to appear at a childrens court at a later date.
