Police charge two after robbery and aggravated burglary in Sunshine

Police have charged two men following an aggravated burglary and attempted armed robbery in Sunshine last night.

Brimbank Embona Taskforce detectives charged the two men, a 21-year-old from Sunshine West and 18-year-old from Braybrook with the following charges:

* Theft from motor vehicle

* Attempted robbery

* Aggravated burglary

* Committing an indicatable offence while on bail

* Contravening conduct condition of bail

* Unlawful assault and

* Possessing a drug of dependence.

The men are expected to appear at Sunshine Magistrates’ Court later today.

The pair were arrested by police, along with a 16-year-old Deer Park boy, in George Street after the trio allegedly committed an attempted armed robbery on Ballarat Road and an aggravated burglary in Lynch Street.
