A 37-year-old man from St Kilda has been charged with affray and has been bailed to appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 26 October 2022.

The charges follow an appeal for information by Transit CIU detectives after the teen was assaulted on a tram travelling to Southern Cross Railway Station on Saturday 23 April about 9.15pm.

The teen was involved in an alleged verbal altercation with two men before they allegedly assaulted the boy and stomped on his head.
