A 23-year-old Wynyard man and 18-year-old Burnie woman have been charged over an incident at Wynyard on Saturday.
Police were called to Gutteridge Gardens about 2.50pm after reports of a disturbance.
A man and his children were allegedly assaulted during the disturbance.
Police can confirm this was a targeted incident and the persons involved were known to each other.
The two alleged offenders were later arrested and charged with multiple counts of common assault.
They were bailed to appear in the Burnie Magistrates Court at a later date.
