Police charge woman over drug supply in South Coast

A woman has been charged over the alleged supply of prohibited drugs on the state’s South Coast.

About 8am yesterday (Wednesday 27 October 2021), officers attached to the South Coast Police District’s Proactive Crime Team executed a search warrant at a home on Bunberra Street, Bomaderry.

During a search of the property, officers seized a small quantity of methylamphetamine, 150ml of gamma hydroxybutyrate (GBH), cannabis, prescription medication, electronic devices and cash.

A 43-year-old woman was arrested at the premises and taken to Nowra Police Station where she was charged with seven offences:

  • Supply prohibited drug indictable quantity (x2),
  • Supply prohibited drug (x2),
  • Possess prohibited drug (x2), and,
  • Recklessly deal with proceeds of crime

The Bomaderry woman was refused bail to appear in Nowra Local Court today (Thursday 28 October 2021).

Investigations are ongoing.
