Police charge woman with high-range PCA twice in seven hours in Holsworthy

A woman is due in court this morning, refused bail after being caught allegedly drink-driving twice in seven hours in Sydney’s south-west yesterday.

Acting on information provided, officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command went to a business in Liverpool shortly after midday (Friday 28 October 2022); and spoke with a 43-year-old woman.

She was arrested and taken to Liverpool Police Station where she returned an alleged breath analysis reading of 0.248.

The woman, who is from Wattle Grove, was charged with high-range PCA and granted strict conditional bail to appear in Liverpool Local Court on 3 November 2022.

Seven hours later, officers from Liverpool Highway Patrol responded to reports a Suzuki Swift was stopped on top of a roundabout at the intersection of Mivo Street and Bardia Parade, Holsworthy.

That same driver was submitted to a roadside breath test which allegedly returned a positive reading.

She was again arrested and taken to Liverpool Police Station, where she underwent a breath analysis which returned an alleged reading of 0.294.

The woman was again charged with drive with high-range PCA, drive while suspended, and breach of bail.

She was refused bail and remanded in custody to appear before Parramatta Bail Court today (Saturday 29 October 2022).
