Police have charged a boy following an alleged assault at a Keilor Park fast food restaurant last month.
The 17-year-old was today charged with intentionally causing injury and recklessly causing injury.
The charges follow an incident on 8 July, where a 49-year-old Keilor man was on the patio area outside the Keilor Park Drive restaurant just after midnight.
Two males who were exiting the restaurant walked past the man, before one of them returned to the victim, allegedly striking him in the face.
The Maidstone boy will face a children’s court at a later date.
