Melbourne Crime Investigation Unit detectives continue to investigate an alleged assault which occurred in Melbourne in May last year.
Officers have been told the victim, a 20-year-old man from South Australia, was walking along Yarra Promenade about 1am.
He was approached by three men and an altercation occurred.
Police have been told the victim was rendered unconscious and broke his leg as he fell to the ground.
Investigators have previously released images of three men they believe may be able to assist them with their enquires and are now releasing CCTV footage.
