Police hold concerns for welfare of Southern region 3 June

Northern Territory Police holds concerns for the welfare of a man who walked off from his home in a remote community south of Alice Springs yesterday.

Bryan Forrester, 62 was last seen walking away from a home which is on the outskirts of the remote community of Santa Teresa, by family at around midday yesterday.

Mr Forrester, who suffers from an underlying medical condition, is described as an elderly Indigenous man with white hair and a white beard and moustache.

He was last seen wearing a blue beanie, a brown dotted football jersey, a black jacket, heads and a pair of thongs.

Family members’ searched the immediate area on becoming aware of Mr Forresters’ disappearance sometime after.

A land search across known locations and areas of interest was conducted by police officers in the community.

Police urge anyone who has sighted Mr Forrester or has information as to his whereabouts, to contact them on 131 444 or report it anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
