Police investigate after armed robbery in Marrickville

Police are investigating following an armed robbery at a service station at Marrickville overnight.

About 10.40pm (Wednesday 17 November 2021), police were called to a service station on Enmore Road, Marrickville, following reports of an armed robbery.

Police were told a man – possibly armed with a firearm – entered the store before threatening an employee and demanding cash.

The man stole cash before leaving the store.

He was last seen heading south along Enmore Road with an unknown female.

The employee was not physically injured during the incident.

Officers attached to Inner West Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
