Police investigate after man is located with injuries in Greensborough

Police are investigating after a man was found with injuries in Greensborough last night.

Officers believe a group of at least two offenders attended an address in Pope Place, where a man was subsequently assaulted.

He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The two offenders fled the scene.

Two other occupants’ home at the time were not injured.

Despite police responding swiftly and conducting a thorough search of the area, the offenders were not located.

Investigators believe that this incident may be linked to a hit and run collision on Glamis Street in Greensborough, shortly after at about 11.05pm.

It is understood that an unknown vehicle deliberately rammed a parked car several times before taking off from the scene.

No one was injured.

An investigation remains ongoing and at this stage police believe these were targeted attacks.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed either of the two incidents.
