Police investigate armed robbery at Burleigh Heads

Police are seeking public assistance after two teenagers have robbed a convenience store at Burleigh Heads overnight.

Around 9.50pm two teenage boys have entered the Fifth Avenue store and threatened a staff member with a knife, demanding cash.

The male staff member complied, and the boys fled the store with a sum of cash.

Both people are believed to be teenage boys and the one with the knife is described as Caucasian, approximately 140cm tall, and slim build.

The second boy is described as Caucasian, medium build, 155cm tall.
