Two people have been charged in relation to an alleged armed robbery in Oakey yesterday.
Police will allege around 2.40pm on May 15, a man and woman attended a service station on Bridge Street in Oakey armed with a firearm.
The pair allegedly threatened an employee with the firearm and demanded the till.
The employee complied and was not physically harmed.
Another employee was also in the service station at the time of the incident and was also unharmed.
The pair allegedly fled the scene in a white Holden Commodore.
Police conducted patrols and tracked the vehicle across the greater Toowoomba area.
The Holden Commodore allegedly crashed into the rear of a Volkswagen Tiguan on Ruthven Street, Toowoomba around 5.10pm.
The Holden Commodore continued on and police continued to track the vehicle.
The driver of the Volkswagen Tiguan sustained minor shoulder injuries.
Police located the vehicle parked on Campbell Street, Newtown around 5.20pm.
The driver allegedly rammed a police vehicle and attempted to flee, crashing into a fence on nearby Mary Street.
A man and woman were taken into custody at the scene.
A 28-year-old Rockville man was charged with 13 offences, including stealing, dangerous operation of a vehicle, evasion, armed robbery, unlawful possession of weapon and driving a motor vehicle without a driver licence.
He is due to appear before Toowoomba Magistrates Court today, May 16.
A 27-year-old Rockville woman has been charged with one count each of armed robbery and unlawful possession of a weapon.
She is due before Toowoomba Magistrates Court today, May 16.
