Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a suspicious fire at a business in Caulfield this morning.
Emergency services were called to a fire at a fast-food store on the corner of Glenhuntly Road and Hawthorn Road about 4.30am.
The building was completely destroyed, and the fire is being treated as suspicious.
The exact cause of the fire is being investigated and at this stage the fire does not appear to be racially motivated.
Detectives are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone that may have seen any suspicious activity in the area at the time.
