Police investigate firearms discharge at Claremont

Police are investigating an incident where a firearm was discharged into a house in Ebden St, Claremont last night.
Police were called to the residence about 11.40pm after the occupant reported suspected gun shots into a window. No one was injured during the incident.
Police confirmed two shots were fired from the vicinity of the roadway into the residence.
Initial investigations suggest the incident was targeted and there is no threat to the wider community.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.
