Police investigate Kingsbury armed robbery

Police are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery in Kingsbury in February.

It is understood a man entered a fast-food restaurant at the corner of Plenty Road and Dunne Street about 3.40am on Friday, 3 February and approached the counter.

Police were told the man put a shopping bag on the counter, threatened a staff member with a knife and demanded he put cash into the bag.

He fled the scene on foot and ran west on Dunne Street.

There were no physical injuries.

Police have released CCTV footage and images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

He is described as a young male, about 155cm tall in all black clothing.
