Police are investigating a multi-vehicle collision in Pascoe Vale this evening.
It is understood three vehicles collided on Gaffney Street about 7.15pm.
The female driver of the first vehicle was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
The male driver of the second vehicle was not injured.
The occupants of the third vehicle fled the scene on foot.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives will attend the scene, and the investigation remains ongoing.
