Police investigate robbery at North Rockhampton

Detectives are appealing for public assistance after a robbery in North Rockhampton yesterday.

Around 6am a man wearing a motorcycle helmet entered a convenience store on Main St in Park Avenue and demanded the attendant to hand over money.

The staff member complied and the man fled with cash on a motorbike with no registration plates.

The 15-year-old female attendant was not injured.

The man is described as Caucasian, with short facial hair which was sticking out from under the helmet.

Anyone with further information is urged to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
