Police are investigating a collision in West Footscray this morning.
It is understood a vehicle struck a pedestrian on Geelong Street about 8.20am.
The male pedestrian was taken to hospital with critical injuries.
The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene.
Geelong Street is expected to be closed for some time while police investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
