A civilian NSW Police Force employee has been charged and her driver’s licence suspended after being caught allegedly drink-driving in the state’s Central Coast yesterday.
About 9.15pm (Friday 5 June 2026), officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District were conducting stationary testing on Wyong Road, Tuggerah, when they directed the driver of a Kia Sorento to stop for testing.
The driver of the vehicle – a 48-year-old woman– was arrested after allegedly returning a positive reading.
She was taken to Wyong Police Station for secondary testing, which allegedly returned a breath analysis reading of 0.089.
The unsworn employee – attached to a specialist command – was charged with drive with middle-range PCA and will appear before Wyong Local Court on Monday 13 July 2026.
The 48-year-old’s licence was also suspended.
