Glenorchy CIB is continuing to investigate a wounding incident in Glenorchy last night.
Police and emergency services responded to an incident in Tolosa Street about 10pm last night.
A man received a non-life threatening injury as a result of an alleged assault and was taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital for treatment.
Police are conducting a number of searches in the greater Hobart area as part of the ongoing investigation.
“There is no threat to the public and the parties are believed to be known to one another,” Detective Acting Inspector Darren Latham said.
